Brown Bag: FLC
Have you ever seen notices about a Faculty Learning Community (FLC) forming and wondered what one does in an FLC? An FLC forms a cross-disciplinary community that meets over a semester to explore individual interests regarding teaching and learning. Please join us for an informational Brown Bag Lunch that describes CCRI’s FLC. During this session you will have the opportunity to ask questions about how an FLC may benefit your work and hear from your colleagues about its benefits. RSVP Below.
The new Faculty Learning Community will begin with a professional development experience open to all faculty. Please join us Tuesday, August 26, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the Knight campus, room 5579. The topic, “Giving and Getting Student Feedback,” draws on research in the field. There will be plenty of hands-on opportunities to explore its application to the classroom. RSVP Below.
