Seasonal Flu Vaccination Clinics
In support of the Rhode Island Department of Health’s “Flu Free State” campaign, the Community College of Rhode Island is working with The Wellness Company to provide on-campus seasonal flu shots for CCRI Students, Faculty and Staff the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, Sept. 25th - 10am - 2pm, Knight Campus (Warwick), Lower Commons
- Thursday, Sept. 27th - 10am - 2pm, Flanagan Campus (Lincoln), Rear of student cafeteria,
- Tuesday, Oct. 2nd - 10am - 2pm, Liston Campus (Providence), Atrium
- Thursday, Oct. 4th - 10am - 2pm, Newport County Campus, Atrium
Cost
There is no cost for the seasonal flu vaccine for students who have health care coverage through Blue Cross & Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Medicare Part B, Neighborhood Health, Tufts, or Cigna. Students with no health insurance plans, and/or who are paying out of pocket will need to pay $20 for the vaccine. All students should bring their health insurance card and driver’s license, or another form of identification, with them to their flu shot appointment.
For CCRI employees, the seasonal flu shot is covered under the CCRI UnitedHealthcare medical plan. All employees should bring their health insurance card and driver's license, or another form of identification, with them to their flu shot appointment.
Registration
To register, visit The Wellness Company’s website. Click on REGISTER NOW. Choose FLU-COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY. When prompted, type in the log in appropriate to your campus:
- Warwick: ccriwar
- Lincoln: ccrilinc
- Providence: ccriprov
- Newport: ccrinew
Type in the scrambled code and follow the remaining on-screen prompts.
