Harold "Whitey" Fell

The CCRI community is invited to a memorial service in honor of Harold “Whitey” Fell at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 12, at the CCRI baseball field at the Knight Campus in Warwick. Fell died on Sept. 26, 2016. The Rhode Island General Assembly named the baseball field in his honor following his retirement.

Fell was a tenured faculty member in the Business Administration Department and was CCRI’s first baseball coach from 1966 through 1984. His compiled an outstanding record of 250 wins and only 105 losses.

In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held indoors. A gathering will be held following the ceremony. If you plan on attending, please RSVP.
