But the Lady Knights did not quit. Though playing a bit shorthanded and having two players with four fouls CCRI was able to dig deep and once again cut into the Bulldogs’ lead. Kennethah Harden (Roosevelt, NY) scored six of the Lady Knights eight points to begin the fourth quarter as they cut Dean’s lead to eight points 58-50 just three minutes into the final frame. But as quickly as the Lady Knights cut into the lead, two minutes later, they found themselves trailing by 20 points 70-50 with about five minutes left in the game form there Dean was able to salt away the victory by the final count of 84-61.
