CCRI Head Women’s Soccer Coach Dennis Grassini has been selected by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) as the National Chairperson for the Junior College Women Coach of the Year award for both Division I and Division III. Grassini has served as the North Region Chairperson for the past eight years and looks forward to his new position with NSCAA.
As the NSCAA National Chair, Grassini will be responsible for the coordination of all of the regions in the country with regards to the selection process for regional and national coaches of the year awards. This includes all junior colleges in both Division I and Division III, as well as California whose two year schools are not part of the NJCAA. There is a chair in each region: North, South, East, West, and Midwest who will solicit nominations for each award, then votes for those coaches who make their regional ballot. Once they have their selections they are reported to Grassini to finalize the selection process.
