Lady Knights travel to North East, PA for Districts!
The CCRI Lady Knights softball team has just hit the road on a five-hour bus trip to Mercyhurst North East in North East, PA, just outside of Erie, to compete in the Division II District I Championship. The Lady Knights (12-12) will face-off against the No. 6 ranked Saints of Mercyhurst North East (34-4) in a two team best-of-three series to decide who will get e berth in the Division II Softball National Championship in Clinton, MS May 14-17.
The Lady Knights earned a berth in the district Tournament after defeating the Region XXI rival Bulldogs of Dean College in the best-of-three Region Championship by winning two straight games 5-0 and 11-3. The Lady Knights look to continue their Post season run to the National Championship as they face a very potent Mercyhurst squad. The Lady Knight have played very well in their last 12 games going 8-4 and will look to continue their excellent play when they face the Saints in Pennsylvania.

Saturday May 3rd
2:00 PM Game 1 CCRI vs No. 6 Mercyhurst NE
4:00 PM Game 2 No. 6 Mercyhurst NE vs CCRI (Team listed first is visiting team)
Sunday May 4th (If needed)
12:00 PM Game 3 CCRI vs Mercyhurst (Home Team Decided by Coin Flip)
