The CCRI golf team continued play in the Division III Golf National Championship at Chautauqua Golf Club in Chautauqua, NY. The Knights shot a 381 team score to give them a three-day total of 1119 as they remain in 13th place. Leading the tournament is Cincinnati State Technical Community College with an impressive three-day total of 903. Individually leading the Tournament is Nick Thompson from Sandhill Community College who is tied with Alec Meyer from College of DuPage who are tied with a three-day total of 215 which is one under par.
On day three Co-Captain Gina Bartolotta (Wakefield, RI) led CCRI with the low score of the day with an 85 giving her a three-day total of 267 to place her 71st overall. For the tournament the team leader is still Steven Letterle (Cranston, RI) who shot an 86 on the third day for a three-day total of 238 placing him 25th overall individually. Chris Lussier (Cranston, RI) shot a 103 to give him a three-day total of 310 to place him 76th and Co-Captain Zach Sullivan (Cumberland, RI) shot a 107 for a three-day total of 304 to place him 75th overall.
The Knights have just teed-off for the fourth and final round of the Championship earlier this morning at the following times: Chris Lussier 9:32am, Zach Sullivan 9:40am, Gina Bartolotta 9:48am and Steven Letterle at 9:56am.
