In first doubles Co-Captains John Chammat (Cumberland, RI) and Sean Gorman (Wakefield, RI) defeated Dylan Clement and Nicole McCaulay of BCC 8-0. In first singles Chammat defeated a very talented Courtney Medeiros of BCC 8-2. In second singles Gorman defeated Dylan Clement 8-0. Rounding out the victorious matches played by CCRI was third singles Otniel Lopes (Pawtucket, RI) who managed to beat Nicole McCaulay 8-0.

After the championship Head Coach Deb Panzica commented: “BCC had to forfeit positions today during our Region XXI match that was very unfortunate. With that said, I was pleased that all players have shown improvement and only gave up a total of two games the entire match.
