Brian Deighan - Head Coach
Brian Deighan, a former athlete who played for Tolman High School and CCRI, understands the value of athletics in an academic arena. His background as a college tennis player included All-Region honors and distinction as player of the year in New England. His coaching experience spans the high school and junior college levels in golf, football and tennis.
From 1999-2002, Deighan served as assistant coach of CCRI’s coed tennis program and was promoted to head coach for the 2003 and 2004 seasons. For the past three years he has served as a volunteer golf coach for Narragansett High School overseeing practices, team competition and students’ academic progress.
Paul Andrade - Assistant Coach
Paul Andrade Jr. is a former CCRI student who is serving his first season as assistant coach of the college’s golf team. He has a wealth of experience with the game and earned an associate degree in applied business from the Golf Academy of America® in San Diego in 2006. Andrade resides in East Providence, where he was captain of his high school golf team, and has volunteered with the PGA’s First Tee program in Myrtle Beach.
Jim Stringfellow - Assistant Coach
James Stringfellow has been a baseball and football coach at the high school level for the past 10 years. He is a graduate of Grantham University where he earned a degree in Criminal Justice. His experience coaching student-athletes and his desire to work in a college setting make him a great fit for the CCRI golf program. He lives in Warwick, R.I.
