Alumni Mentor Program

CCRI Alumni are needed to volunteer to mentor CCRI students as part of the new Alumni Mentor Program. The first stage of this program is the Alumni Partners Program with Cooperative Education. Please look for future information on other ways alumni can touch the lives of present day CCRI students.

CCRI Director of Co-operative Education/Career Placement Department Anne Marge says:

"Alumni are being sought to be partners with CCRI Internship/CO-OP students. Alumni can provide a chance for a student to intern, job shadow, offer informational interviews and to serve as guest speakers."

"CCRI alumni can offer wonderful connections for students to learn more about careers and the workplace. Alumni are familiar with the college and their particular program as well as current job opportunities. Your experience and expertise can help a student today be a successful worker tomorrow."

Alumni Association helps student

The first week of classes, CCRI nursing student Simone Grieco did the right thing and bought all of her books for her classes. It was during the second week of classes Simone discovered that one of her books had been stolen from a classroom. Through the generosity of CCRI Alumni, the Alumni Association was able to purchase a replacement book. Simone was so grateful that she made a point of visiting Alumni Director Marisa Albini to thank the Association. Money for this book was made possible through your generous donations to the Alumni Association.
