A Lincoln Portrait: A one-man performance by Robb Dimmick
Actor, director and playwright Robb Dimmick performed “A Lincoln Portrait,” a play based on the writings and reflections of Abraham Lincoln, on March 31. More than 140 people attended the performance held in the Bobby Hackett Theater at the Knight Campus in Warwick. The event was sponsored by the CCRI Foundation.
Dimmick, a Providence resident, has toured the country to present “A Lincoln Portrait” since 1983. Historians at Brown University and the Naval War College and re-enactors throughout New England regard his portrayal of Lincoln as one of the most authentic in the nation. View photos of the event.
