As part of All College Week 2015, CCRI gives back to the community during Community Service Day.
Community Service Day
50 Taft St., Coventry
The association maintains Spell Hall, the 1770 home of Revolutionary War Gen. Nathanael Greene, and a small visitor's center on 11 acres in Coventry. Its mission is to educate visitors concerning the Colonial and Revolutionary War era and the role that the general and his family played in it.
Volunteers at this site on Community Service Day will clean up the yard surrounding the homestead, including raking, picking up branches and pulling weeds. They also will help get the homestead ready for the season by doing some light housework such as dusting and vacuuming.
This site is now full. Thank you.
