Stephanie M. Cruz has worked at CCRI since 1989. She joined ACCESS in January 2013 after having served 24 years with sister-TRIO program, the RI Educational Opportunity Center (RIEOC). Stephanie completed a BS in Business as well as a Masters of Public Administration at the University of RI. She currently serves as the secretary to the New England Educational Opportunity Association (NEOA), which is the regional professional association for TRIO program personnel.

Jacqueline J. Manè has worked at the Community College of Rhode Island since 2000. She completed an AS in Business Administration from CCRI, a BS in Human Development and a Master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from University of Rhode Island URI. Jackie started out as an Coordinator Counselor for the Minority Mentoring Program. After a few years, became a Coordinator/Counselor for the Access program. She has been the Associate Director of Access, at the Newport campus since 2011. She has a deep passion to help students achieve academic success. Her favorite saying is, “Your destiny is not a matter of chance; it’s a matter of choice.” What will you choose today?

Jesse has worked at CCRI since 2017, joining Access in 2019.  He earned a degree in Art and Film Media from the University of Rhode Island, as well as graduate work at Rhode Island College.  Located at the Knight Campus in Warwick, his door is always open to help with class selection, match you with a tutor, or just chat over a cup of coffee.

April Donahue joined ACCESS as a Coordinator/Counselor in January 2019. She holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in History. While working as a graduate student advisor April enjoyed working with students so much she decided to change her career path! April is currently working on her PhD in Education, focused on how to best reduce inequities in higher education. She is passionate about helping students reach their academic goals. You can find April at the Flanagan campus in Lincoln.

Monica Lee has been at CCRI for 15 years. Specifically, working for the Access Program for 11 years. She has a Master's degree in Science and also is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician. You can find her at the CCRI Flanagan Campus.

Gail Sidney has worked at CCRI for just over five years as a Coordinator/Counselor for Access. She received a Masters of Arts in Higher and Post-Secondary Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Human Services from Clark University. A native of Massachusetts, Gail enjoys chamomile tea and is known to utilize a left handed keyboard! She can be found in her office sipping tea at the Knight Campus.

Cynthia Spruill has worked at CCRI since 1998 as a Coordinator/Counselor for the Access Program at the Liston Campus.  She received a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island.  She is dedicated to helping students achieve educational and personal goals.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and listening to a variety of music.
